Much of the work that the SHMA is doing is carried out by its various sub-committees on a voluntary basis.  The funeral sub-committee provides invaluable assistance with the burials of people who pass away within the community.  The assistance provided comes not only in the form of helping with the actual burial process but also with providing advice and assistance to the families of the deceased at what is no doubt a stressful and delicate time.
