Six sub-committees have been set up to take care of specific tasks identified by the committee.
The sub-committees are given below:
Sisters
This sub-committee led by Sister Shaheen and Zoya, and supported by Sisters Saima and many others organise sisters gathering for our community in Surrey Heath. They meet regularly every fortnight and organise events and classes for Sisters and also the children.

Funeral and Burial
This sub-committee led by Brother Farhan Syed hopes to establish a burial place in Surrey Heath for our Muslim Community. Currently Muslim Residents live all their lives in Surrey Heath and unfortunately after death they have to find a burial place outside the borough. The sub-committee will highlight our community's need to the borough and with other religious organisations who are lucky and fortunate to have burial place for their people in Surrey Heath borough.

This sub-committee led by Brother Gamal Dabab and Safwan Samad organise regular sports activities like football for children and youth and also for the not so young members of our community. This sub-committee has also organised Cricket during the summer, Summer Picnics, and outings/trips to interesting places to visit.

This sub-committee led by Brother Soyab and supported by Abdul Hakim have created a newsletter for our community in Surrey Heath. The plan is to have at least four newsletters in a year.
This sub-committee also updates and maintains our SHMA website.
