Some of you may already be aware that the SHMA was running a Da'wah project. We are in the process of relaunching this project with an aim to improve awareness of Islam in schools.
Through giving talks about Islam in local schools, in assemblies and in RE lessons, our aim is to let people understand better our beautiful way of life. By working with schools we believe we can help youngsters to gain a better appreciation about what Islam is about and the way of life that it promotes.

. There are many things that you can do to help and don't worry if you are the kind of person who gets nervous about giving talks, because youc an help in other ways such as, preparing presentations and doing research about certain topics. You do not need to be a scholar to teach people about Islam, because the Prophet (salallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:
"Pass on knowledge from me, even if it is only one verse"
You will be able to access scholars for assistance when required. If we all start with the correct intention, insha'Allah Allah swt will put blessings in this project and allow us to succeed in our aims and goals.
