The cost of a funeral is pretty expensive.  The family of a bereaved relative can typically expect to pay £3000 for the costs associated with the burial.  At a time of stress and grief, the last thing on people's mind is trying to find how to pay for this.  The processes that one has to follow can seem so complicated and the last thing that people want to have to be confronted with during a time when they would rather grieve and pray for their loved one.
